Abstract

The article presents modern and historical data of domestic and foreign literature on rare severe dermatosis – Gottron skin carcinoid papillomatosis. Two own clinical observations of Gottron skin carcinoid papillomatosis in a young woman of 48 years proceeding against the background of malignant neoplasm of the ovary, and a man of 70 years with a concomitant vascular disease of the lower extremities are described.

Gottron's carcinoid papillomatosis of the skin. a - pronounced edema, lymphostasis, infiltration, purulent discharge in the lower third of the right leg against the background of deformity of the right foot; b - against the background of infiltration, there are multiple papules rising above the surface of the skin, prone to grouping and fusion, with a bumpy surface. The grooves between vegetation are filled with yellowish-white masses; c - the skin of the left leg is dry, with pronounced hyperkeratosis, altered nail plates (for comparison).

3. Fig. 2. Patient P., 70 years old. Carcinoid skin papillomatosis Gottron. Left foot, lower leg, edematous, with moderate lymphostasis. On the dorsum of the left foot there are papillomatous growths from 0.2 to 1 cm. There is creamy pus in the groove between the papules and toes.
