On February 17, 2026, the 1166th meeting of the Moscow Society of Dermatovenereologists and Cosmetologists named after A.I. Pospelov was held in honor of the 180th anniversary of the birth of its founder, Professor Alexey Ivanovich Pospelov.
The meeting was held in person in the Golden Ring Hall conference center at the Golden Ring Hotel. A total of 180 participants attended.
The scientific session featured five reports, the first marking the 180th anniversary of the birth of the founder of the Moscow Society of Dermatovenereologists and Cosmetologists, Professor Alexey Ivanovich Pospelov.
A.I. Pospelov was born on February 9, 1846, in the Ryazan province (Dankov). He graduated from the Medical Faculty of Moscow University with a degree in medicine, but while still a student he was awarded a medal for his essay "On the difference between the effects of potassium iodide and potassium bromide on the animal body." His Doctor of Medicine dissertation focused on the treatment of syphilis with subcutaneous injections of sublimate. From 1876, A.I. Pospelov worked at the Myasnitsky Hospital as a senior physician (chief physician), where a "Syphilitic Department for the Labor Class" was established in the early 20th century. His name is associated with the launch of the hospital’s pathology department and reforms to the prostitution supervision system. The first meeting of the Moscow Society of Dermatovenereologists and Cosmetologists was held under the chairmanship of A.I. Pospelov. Professor A.I. Pospelov was the head of the Department of Skin and Venereal Diseases at Moscow University.
Other reports addressed differential diagnosis and therapy of psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis, improving the quality of life of patients with eczema and atopic dermatitis, the efficacy of bacteriorhodopsin in psoriasis treatment, and the use of general aerocryotherapy in dermatology.
17 февраля 2026 года состоялось очередное, 1166-е заседание Московского общества дерматовенерологов и косметологов имени А.И. Поспелова, посвящённое 180-летию со дня рождения основателя МОДВ профессора Алексея Ивановича Поспелова.
Заседание прошло в очном формате в конференц-зале Golden Ring Hall отеля «Золотое кольцо». В заседании приняло участие 180 человек.
В научной части заседания представлены пять докладов, первый был посвящён 180-летию основателя МОДВ профессора Алексея Ивановича Поспелова.
А.И. Поспелов родился 9 февраля 1846 года в Рязанской губернии (г. Данков). Медицинский факультет Московского университета окончил со степенью лекаря, но ещё будучи студентом получил медаль за сочинение «О различии действия йодистого и бромистого калия на организм животных». Его диссертация на степень доктора медицины была посвящена теме лечения сифилиса подкожными впрыскиваниями сублимата. С 1876 года А.И. Поспелов в должности старшего врача (главврача) работал в Мясницкой больнице, где в начале ХХ века было организовано «сифилитическое отделение для чернорабочего класса». Его имя связано с началом работы патоморфологического отделения больницы, реформами системы надзора за проституцией. Под председательством А.И. Поспелова состоялось первое заседание Московского общества дерматовенерологов. Профессор А.И. Поспелов возглавлял кафедру кожных и венерических болезней Московского университета.
Другие доклады заседания были посвящены вопросам дифференциальной диагностики и терапии псориаза и себорейного дерматита, улучшению качества жизни пациентов с экземой и атопическим дерматитом, эффективности бактериородопсина в терапии псориаза и общей аэрокриотерапии в дерматологии.
