The review focuses on actively studied mechanisms of melanin synthesis in norm and pathology, the physiology of pigment cells (melanocytes), their interaction with other structures of the epidermis and dermis and on the mechanisms of regulation of melanogenesis. The main factors influencing the appearance of hyperpigmentation are described.</p>
Также освещаются основные факторы, влияющие на возникновение гиперпигментации.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>hyperpigmentation</kwd><kwd>melasma</kwd><kwd>melanocyte</kwd><kwd>melanogenesis</kwd><kwd>melanin</kwd><kwd>lentigines</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>гиперпигментация</kwd><kwd>меланодермия</kwd><kwd>мелазма</kwd><kwd>меланоцит</kwd><kwd>меланогенез</kwd><kwd>меланин</kwd><kwd>лентиго</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Rodriguez-Arambula A., Torres-Alvarez B., Cortes-Garcia D., Fuentes-Ahumada C., Castanedo-Cazares J.P.
