The article deals with the discussion on the concepts of commitment and compliance to external therapy in dermatology, especially in the treatment of atopic dermatitis. The dependence of commitment and compliance on the characteristics of external pharmaceuticals, application schemes, drug side effects, impact on the quality of life of patients and their relative are considered. On the basis of personal experience of application of pimecrolimus in the treatment of atopic dermatitis the dependence of patients' commitment to the treatment from these factors is demonstrated.

Обсуждаются понятия приверженности и комплаентности наружной терапии в дерматологии, в частности в лечении атопического дерматита (АД), их зависимость от особенностей наружных препаратов, схем применения, побочных эффектов, взаимоотношений врач-больной, влияния на качество жизни больных и их родственников. На примере собственного опыта применения пимекролимуса при АД продемонстрирована зависимость приверженности от этих параметров у пациентов.
