Abstract
On 15 April 2025, the V.A. Rakhmanov Skin Clinic in Moscow hosted the 1162nd meeting of the A.I. Pospelov Moscow Society of Dermatovenereologists and Cosmetologists. The in-person gathering was attended by 120 members and guests.
During the organizational proceedings, the Society reviewed and accepted two new membership applications from physicians of private aesthetic clinics in Moscow. A distinguished moment of the meeting was the conferment of the title of Honorary Member of the A.I. Pospelov Society upon Prof. Anton Sergeyevich Dvornikov, MD, DSc, Head of the Department of Dermatovenereology at the N.I. Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the field.
The clinical session featured three case presentations. The first, from the Russian National Research Medical University, concerned scabies in a comorbid patient with neurological pathology. The second, presented by a team from the First Moscow State Medical University, discussed a disseminated form of granuloma annulare. The third case described metatypical carcinoma developing against a background of primary multiple basal cell carcinomas.
The scientific session included three lectures. A report from the First Moscow State Medical University addressed the role of netakimab in treating psoriasis in "difficult-to-treat" locations. Specialists from the Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education provided an update on new, modern capabilities in dermoscopy. Finally, a presentation from the N.N. Burdenko Main Military Clinical Hospital focused on the rapid diagnosis of cutaneous melanoma using the "Melanoma Check" artificial intelligence software.
The meeting served as a productive forum for the exchange of expert knowledge and clinical experience, upholding the Society's long-standing tradition of advancing dermatological science and practice.
