Abstract
On October 21, 2025, the 1164th meeting of the Moscow Society of Dermatovenerologists and Cosmetologists named after A.I. Pospelov was held.
The meeting took place in an in-person format at the V.A. Rakhmanov Clinic of Skin and Venereal Diseases and was attended by 110 participants. Between May and October 2025, 84 applications for membership in the Society were submitted by physicians from various dermatological and aesthetic clinics in Moscow, as well as by clinical residents.
The clinical section of the meeting featured two case presentations: the first addressed follicular lichen planus (SSCDC – State Scientific Center of Dermatovenerology and Cosmetology), and the second focused on IgA pemphigus (Sechenov University).
The scientific section included three reports: the first discussed current synthetic retinoid therapies (Sechenov University); the second reviewed contemporary concepts of the clinical presentation, diagnosis, and treatment of microsporia (Central State Medical Academy of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation); and the third highlighted new opportunities for phototherapy in dermatology (Central Polyclinic No. 1, Sechenov University).
