Abstract
ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND. Infantile hemangioma (IGS) is a common disease characterized by a variety of clinical forms, localization and prevalence, however, the effectiveness of treatment is low.
AIM: development of the method and algorithm of sclerotherapy of infantile hemangioma with detergents and study of its safety on morphological model.
METHODS. An investigation of the action of a detergent on an experimental model of chicken scallops and clinical observations of 23 children with infantile hemangiomas who received treatment for sclerosis were carried out.
RESULTS. The method of introduction and algorithm for the application of sclerosis in infantile hemangiomas was developed on the basis of studying its effect on the vascular network and skin in an experiment on chicken scallops. Clinical and morphological data on the effect of large and small doses of MS on hemodynamics and skin structure of the experimental model were obtained. Calculated vascular mass ratio of infantile hemangioma in the progressive stage and model. A two-stage procedure is proposed, consisting of the successive introduction of anesthetic and sclerosant in the area of infantile hemangioma. Clinical cure was reported in 826% of patients, clinical improvement - in 17.4% of children with infantile hemangiomas.
CONCLUSION. Highly effective treatment of children with infantile hemangiomas has been developed. Experimental data allowed to evaluate the dynamics of clinical and morphological changes occurring under the action of sclerozantine and determine its optimal concentration. The results of the study made it possible to avoid complications and cosmetic consequences of the treatment.
