4. Description Abstract The authors analyze the historical context and relevance of sustainable development indicators and offer an overview of business transformation trends in Russia in line with ESG standards. The article considers environmental, social and managerial trends in the transformation of business in the Russian Federation, highlights promising areas, problems and limitations. Specific examples of initiatives and achievements in line with the ESG principles from various leading companies in Russia are given. The authors suggest that companies pay attention to the prospects for integrating sustainable development principles into corporate strategies and promote the development of social programs to support employees.
